Recycling rare earth elements and precious metals from electronic wastes (urban mining) is one application of LCW extraction technologies.

 

LCW has also developed a highly efficient, robust and low-cost polymer fiber adsorbent which is capable of removing various toxic metal species from water. The LCW fiber adsorbent can be used to remediate industrial waste water, clean-up contaminated waterways, and remove toxic metals from drinking water.
